Flip Flip

The archive exhibition Flip Flip consists of four zones. In front of each zone is a table with archive cards. The archive card contains pieces of time that ‘What children believe’ has accumulated. Plug the selected archive card into the marked area on the table, and over seven years, 787 children and 80 artists unfold a diverse narrative of trust created through 42 programs. Moreover, visitors can add their own stories to the questions in each zone. Through the participation of visitors, the exhibition continues to agonize over the trust of the small and the world that begins with that trust.

[Zone 1: How did we fill our time in seven years] It consists of the archive of ‘What Children Believe’ in four stages: planning, promotion, sharing and result. Through the planning stage, which was full of excitement and fear before meeting children, we can access the business cycle until we shared our stories through the program operation process that we met and agonized about in person, and through exhibitions and workshops.

[Zone 3: The adult story, what was special about us] People can be viewed in an artist interview and an essay. Share the wonders of art with children, and listen to the story of an artist who has permeated the world of children to the fullest.

[Zone 4: What more can we do with others in the next seven years] From 2013 to 1919, we share the story of 42 "What Children Believe?" which took place in the seven years. With this exhibition, visitor can make their own story binding with the exhibition goods.
